Construction of the fourth logistics center
With the completion of the fourth logistics center at the company's location in Nufringen, a further 500 m² of storage space is now available to store a wide range of filters. The operation is semi-automatic and the around 800 pallet spaces are approached by induction-controlled forklifts.
Formation of a holding company
With Luca Elsässer joining the management, "Patronus Holding GmbH" is founded. In addition to "Elsässer Filtertechnik GmbH", the holding company also includes "FIL Filter GmbH", "FILTREC Filtertechnik GmbH", "Rentalis Immobilien GmbH" and "Neoprint3D GmbH" as subsidiaries.
New dual leadership
On May 1, Luca Elsässer joins his father Frank Elsässer on the management board. With immediate effect, they will together take over the management of ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik GmbH. In future, Frank Elsässer will be in charge of sales, marketing, finance and controlling. Luca Elsässer will be responsible for purchasing, logistics and IT.
Expansion of storage capacity
The construction of a new three-storey pick rack creates an additional storage area of 12,000 m² and space for around 14,000 different items. The sophisticated system facilitates storage and, above all, further improves the processing of incoming customer orders.
Exclusive representative for Fil Filter
ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik becomes the exclusive representative for Fil Filter in Germany and Austria. The product range is extended by several air, cabin air, oil and fuel filters for automotive, heavy duty and agricultural technology.
Construction of the third logistics center and expansion of office space
An additional logistics center with an area of 1,900 m² is being built at the company's headquarters in Nufringen in order to meet increasing customer demands for rapid availability and a wide variety of products. An extension to the existing office building also creates 20 new workplaces in the administration department.
Second logistics center strengthens delivery availability
With the construction of a new 2,000 m² warehouse just a few meters away from the company headquarters, the delivery availability for industrial filters and the service quality for customer-specific filtration requirements will be further strengthened.
Exclusive representative for FILTREC hydraulic filters
ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik becomes the exclusive representative for FILTREC products in Germany and Austria. This expands the product range by around 6,500 items from the hydraulic filter sector.
Change of name to ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik
Aus "ELSÄSSER Industrietechnik GmbH" becomes "ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik GmbH". The consistent focus on products and service solutions for all aspects of filtration is thus also visible in the company name.
Expansion of the logistics center
The existing logistics center is being expanded to take account of the continuing positive business development. This provides a total of 3,600 m² of storage space from January 2011.
Moving to Carl-Zeiss-Straße 3
The year 2008 is characterized by significant changes. In April, company founder Gerhard Elsässer retires from the company and his son Frank Elsässer becomes the single managing director of ELSÄSSER Industrietechnik GmbH. His first major milestone as Managing Director is the construction of his own office and warehouse building in order to meet the constantly growing interest in the manufacturing and storage service and the associated need for more space. The location remains in Nufringen, just 100 meters from the old building. In October 2008, ELSÄSSER then moves into the new company headquarters at Carl-Zeiss-Straße 3 with 600 m² of office space and 1,600 m² of warehouse space.
Expansion of the warehouse
In order to further improve the manufacturing and delivery service for customers, the warehouse capacity is expanded in 2005 with the construction of a second hall. With the move in August, a further 400 m² of storage space is available.
Moving to Nufringen
Around four years after entering the trading business, it becomes clear that the space in Stuttgart-Vaihingen is gradually becoming too small and a new solution is needed. In 1999, the company moves into its first own building in Carl-Benz-Strasse in Nufringen. Not only does the office space increase in the new location, but the storage space also grows considerably. From this point on, the company has 90% of the industrial filter range in stock at all times and delivers orders within a very short time.
Entry into the trading business
In 1995, the decisive change from today's perspective takes place: "Ingenieurbüro Elsässer" becomes "ELSÄSSER Industrietechnik GmbH". In the same year, Frank Elsässer joins his father and company founder Gerhard Elsässer in the Management Board. The company, now consisting of three employees, starts its trading business with its own customers and its first own warehouse.
