A tube gap-type filter insert consists of a wire wrapped around longitudinal rods that are welded together at each intersection point.
The longitudinal rods and the wire are made of high-strength stainless steel. The exact position of the steel wire on the longitudinal rods ensures uniform gap dimensions. As the liquid flows through the filter element, the dirt particles are deposited on its surface.
When the filter element’s handle is turned, the dirt particles accumulate on the row of gap cleaners and sink into the sludge collection chamber. The sludge is then discharged as required by opening a ball valve installed by the customer.
