Manufacturers and operators of hydraulic systems must ensure that oil of the correct purity class is used in the respective systems, in order to avoid damage caused by dirt particles or water.
The “correct” oil purity class is determined by the components installed in the hydraulic system, such as the pumps, valves, and cylinders. The manufacturers of these components specify the required minimum purity class depending on the sensitivity of the system.
Often, due to various factors, the filters installed in the system are unable to maintain the required degree of oil purity over time. Therefore, it makes sense to use partial-flow systems to circulate the tank contents. This where mobile filter units come in – these devices are purpose-built for oil maintenance in hydraulic systems.
Application areas for partial-flow units
These units are used, for example, to provide partial-flow filtration in addition to the existing system filter, or for filtration when filling the oil tank.
We can supply mobile partial-flow units with varying flow rates and degrees of filter fineness.
