Sustainability at Tork

Essity is the first company in the industry to produce wiping papers CO2-free. Previously, the paper manufacturing process relied on natural gas to dry the paper. Essity was able to replace this natural gas with green hydrogen, which is generated using wind power from local sources. In addition, the machines are powered by electricity from certified renewable sources. The result: a CO2-free paper manufacturing process and a wiping paper with a significantly reduced carbon footprint.
